Fruit festival at Clumber

CLUMBER Park will be celebrating local apple varieties with its annual Apple Festival from 12-4pm on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October.

Clumber’s Head Chef Clive Goudercourt will be giving cookery demonstrations of tasty apple-based recipes.

Skill and agility will be tested in the apple themed games, with the debut of the Apple Bowl-a-rama, and the return of the longest peel competition. Clumber’s gardeners will give demonstrations of fruit tree training and a local botanic artist has painted some of the local apple varieties which will be on display in the museum rooms of the Walled Kitchen Garden. Normal admission charges apply.
