Staff, parents and children are celebrating again at a Carlton in Lindrick nursery, after achieving a hat-trick of outstanding Ofsted grades
Granby Nursery, on Lawn Road, achieved its third consecutive outstanding judgement - the highest possible - after inspectors from the education and child services regulator visited in March.
The official confirmation came last week with the publication of the inspectors’ report, and nursery manager Jacqui Hannaby was quick to pay tribute to the nursery’s staff.
She said: “Our success is down to a highly-qualified and dedicated team, with an ethos that puts children at the centre of everything we do. This means they are happy and settled and inspired to learn.”
“It’s very important that children have an excellent start in their learning journey, we seek to provide the best environment for children.”
Ofsted Inspector Amanda Forrest agreed with that assessment, saying: “Staff set extremely high standards and children receive exemplary care and outstanding learning opportunities.”
Jaqui added: “If you want your little ones to be part of this we have some availability at the moment.”
