TALENTED youngsters at a Dinnington stage school have wowed experts to bring the latest silverware back to the area.

Twinkle-toed Clair Davison and Isabel Canning from the Julie Turner Stage Academy performed at Buxton Opera House recently.

The pair competed against dozens of pupils from all over the country.

Clair, 16, won a debut award in musical theatre and also came third in the senior scholarship.

To gain a debut award the talented teenager had to speak, sing and dance a set, while also performing a dance that she had choreographed herself.

Isabel, 14, scooped an intermediate scholarship.

To achieve her win she had to perform set in tap and ballet and perform an impromptu routine that she had to make up herself after listening to the music only once.
