A North Anston man was given a 12 week suspended sentence after pleading guilty to driving without insurance whilst disqualified.
Charles Francis, 25, of Narrow Lane, changed his plea before a trial was due to take place.
The court heard how a council CCTV operative contacted police after seeing an altercation outside a pub.
Police attending the scenelater saw Francis’car parked on Stubbings Lane.
Francis fled behind a caravn when seeing the officers and was arrested.
Mitigating, David Grant said his client was remorseful for the way he had acted.
Francis was also ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work in the community.
