A WORKSOP dad has been given one last chance of freedom after a string of shoplifting offences.
Nathan Handley, 21, who had been living at the Hope hostel in Queen Street, admitted the thefts at Worksop Magistrates.
Most recently he took two tins of salmon from Sainsbury’s on 16th July.
On 8th May he took beer and wine from Home Bargains and Sainsbury’s.
The offences breached a conditional discharge and the second was while on bail awaiting sentence.
Magistrate Graham Cross imposed a suspended sentence of six months, and a year long community order including supervision.
He said: “If you commit any more offences you will not avoid custody.”
