Police have release an e-fit of a man who allegedly robbed a woman in Manton.

A woman was walking alone through an alleyway between Southmoor Road and South Avenue at around 8.45pm on Wednesday 8th June when she was approached by a man on a pedal bike.

He grabbed her handbag and pushed her into a wall before fleeing with the woman’s purse and the contents of her bag.

The offender rode off in the direction of South Avenue.

He is described as white and in his late teens. He is around 5’10” tall, of medium build, has fair cropped hair and has a rounded face and pale skin.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing loose tracksuit bottoms and a plain red t-shirt.

He was riding a white bicycle, possible a racing style bike, with thin tyres.
