Car crimes to be ‘tweeted’

TWITTER fans will get a glimpse into the reality of car crime next week when details of all thefts from vehicles are tweeted online.

Notts Police will post information about every incident that happens in the county for five days from Monday 12th December.

Crime prevention messages educating residents about protecting their vehicles will also be tweeted on the social networking site, as well as facts about car crime.

Anyone with information about the crimes mentioned will be encouraged to contact Notts Police on 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
