The following people have recently appeared before the courts in Worksop, Rotherham and Mansfield:

DISORDER

Jeffrey Barber, 38, of Rampton Hospital, Retford. Used threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Fined £50. Also ordered to pay £50 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge.

Lydnsey Mcnamara, 30, of Kingston Road, Worksop. Used threatening, abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Fined £100. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Darren Bowles, 41, of Goldsmith’s Road, Worksop. Used threatening, abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Also left an answer phone message when prohibited from doing so by a restraining order. Committed to prison for six weeks.

Jonathan King, 23, of Pepper Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield. Used threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Fined £75. Also ordered to pay £45 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

DRUGS

Daniel Hall, 28, of Gateford Road, Worksop. Found to be in possession of a Class B drug. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

George Thompson, 56, of Swaledale, Worksop. Found to be in the possession of a Class B drug. Fined £70. Also ordered to pay court costs of £40 and a £20 victim surcharge.

BREACH

Andrew Mead, 43, of Arundel Walk, Harworth. Failed without reasonable requirement to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence. Committed to prison for 28 weeks suspended for two years.

Paul Whyte, 46, of Gladstone Street, Worksop. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend an unpaid work induction. Ordered to carry out a further 20 hours of unpaid work.

Daren Morley, 48, of Monmouth Road, Worksop. Allowed himself to be on Bridge Place in Worksop when prohibited from doing by an ASBO. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15.

Willem Brewer, 21 of Ely Close, Worksop. Failed to comply with the requirements of a suspended sentence by failing to attend appointments. Suspended sentence of imprisonment of 6 weeks suspended for 12 months imposed.

Lewis Shaw, 22, of Maltby Road, Mansfield. Entered a property when prohibited from doing so under a restraining order. Community order made with employment and education training requirement . Also ordered to pay £85 on a victim surcharge of £60.

ASSAULT

Vanessa Williams, 23, of Rampton Hospital, Retford. Assaulted a woman thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm. Assaulted a man by beating him. Ordered to pay compensation of £250.

Adam Buckle, 29, of Vickers Street, Mansfield. Assaulted a man thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm. Community order made. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

DAMAGE

James Atherton, 31, of Frederick Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield. Damaged five car wing mirrors, to a value unknown. Discharged conditionally for six months. Ordered to pay compensation of £500.

Yazmin Harpham, 21, of Victoria Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield. Damaged a UPVC door and brick wall with spray paint. Fined £110. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a victim surcharge of £20.

THEFT

Aaron Bagley, 22, of King Street, Mansfield. Stole a bottle of soft drink, to the value of £1.49, from a service station. Committed to prison for 112 days suspended for 12 months.

Gavin Rogerson, 27, of Osberton View, Worksop. Stole 10 cans of Lynx deodor, 6 cans of Sure deodorant/ to the value of £95.90. Community order of six months made. Also ordered to pay £95.90 in compensation.

Steven Hobson, 38, of Chapelgate, Retford. Stole bicycle parts to value of £150. Committed to prison for six weeks.

Simon Foulkes, 33, of Willow Crescent, Sutton-in-Ashfield. Stole a hoover to the value of £109. Committed to prison for four weeks.

MOTORING

Anthony Murdoch, 30, of Westfield Lane, Mansfield. Driving without a license. Committed to prison for 7 weeks. Licence was also endorsed with six points.
