Bassetlaw branch - the July meeting welcomed Annette Mackenzie and her delightful barn owl Boogie, where she gave a very interesting talk about barn owls and members were able to handle the bird.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, August 2, when Anna Shaw (well-being practitioner) will talk about the Aurora Centre and the therapies available there for people with long-term health problems. Meetings take place on the first Tuesday of every month at 2pm, at the Worksop Cricket Club, and new members are always welcome and assured of friendship and support.
