Staff at the Co-operative Travel on Bridge Street in Worksop have chosen to support Bassetlaw Hospital’s portable bladder scanner appeal.

They organised a shopping coach trip to the Trafford Centre in Manchester, and to top up the coffers staff asked for donations for travel brochures.

“The trip was great. We even had calls asking about cancellations it was that popular,” said assistant manager Amanda Bleackley.

The Co-operative team have always been great supporters of Bassetlaw Hospital, last raising funds for the Breastcare appeal.

Amanda said: “As a company we always try to support local causes and the bladder scanner appeal ticks all the boxes.”

Hospital trust fundraiser Sally Richardson received the cheque for £240 and thanked everyone involved.
