The Clowne Gala proved to be a big hit as families and friends enjoyed the annual community day.

From pony rides, to dancing and fancy dress, there was plenty of activities on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September at Heritage School on Boughton Lane.

Youngsters enjoyed their first ever experience of archery, played football and were entertained by some live acts including Creswell Colliery Brass Band.

There were various stalls selling handmade crafts and gifts as well as plenty of exhibitions as locals from all over the villiage indulged in the sun.

Bring on next year!
