A Retford businesswoman has continued an incredible run of success, landing another top award nomination to add to a string of previous honours.

Suzanne Smith, managing director of Soteria Asbestos, has been shortlisted for East Midlands Enterprising Business Woman of the Year, just 12 months after winning Enterprising New Business Woman.

Suzanne said “I am delighted to be recognised for my hard work and am honoured to be selected as a finalist at such prestigious awards.

In the first two years of operation, Suzanne has also won Business Person of the Year and Best New Business at the Gainsborough Business Awards, and made the shortlists for the Nottingham Post Women in Business Awards and East Midlands Chamber’s Entrepreneur of the Year.

Following the success of Soteria, Suzanne and business partner Peter Cassettari have launched Sherwood Knowledge, a training provider offering courses in health and safety, social care and business skills across the county.
