Head judge Amanda Legate, a director of the Preparation Group, said: “The judges are very much looking forward to uncovering some of our unsung heroes.

“All too often, solid pillars of our business community work tirelessly in their businesses and supporting others—and at times in an unpaid capacity—without their efforts being recognised in any capacity.”

She added: “This is their chance to step back and shout out about their business and personal achievements that should be celebrated.”

The awards are free to enter and offer categories for all types of firms, from home based businesses to those working in the professional services sector.

For more information and an application form, visit nnbwawards.weebly.com. The closing date for entries is midnight on Wednesday, May 31.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, July 14. Tickets are available from the website.
