Bungalow fire leaves one Worksop woman in hospital with burns to her face and arms

Crews from Worksop and Retford dealt with a blaze on Monmouth road, Worksop which happened on Tuesday, November 10 at 10.40am.

One woman has been hospitalised suffering from smoke inhalation and burns to her face and arms after a fire broke out in her home.

Ten minutes after the call firefighters reported the bungalow was “well alight” and used two hoses and breathing apparatus to extinguish the inferno.

It took the crew 40 minutes to bring it under control.
