The popular summer event will take place on Saturday 21st June and Sunday 22nd June.

There will be plenty of family fun in store including vintage tractors and engines.

For those who like to be a little more hands on, visitors will have the opportunity to make their own pottery and take part in craft workshops led by artists from the RSPB Beckingham Marshes project.

Coun Jo White, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, said: “The Farm and Country Festival has become something of a tradition in Retford and promises to be a great family event. We hope that as many people as possible will join us to help celebrate the small milestone of our 10th anniversary.”

To top off the billing, there will be performances from Creswell Colliery Brass Band as well as the usual variety of refreshments and arts and rural craft stands in the museum garden.

Also, in the run up to nation-wide events for Armed Forces Day, the museum will be joined by the Retford British Legion and a ‘WWI sailor’ will be on hand to explain all things nautical. You can even try your hand at making camouflage netting.
