Young boy injured in motorcycle crash

A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle collision in Rhodesia on Sunday.
The youngster was sitting on the handlebars of a motorbike when the incident happened.

Two men were also injured in the incident which happened at about 2.15pm yesterday on a area of wasteland at the bottom of Mary Street.

The collision involved two motorcycles, and adult's bike and a child's bike, both being ridden by the injured men.

The boy sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital for treatment. He was later transferred to Sheffield Children's Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

One of the two injured men has been released from hospital but the other, a 23-year-old, remains in Bassetlaw Hospital.
