IT'S the big Bonfire Night spectacular this weekend as hundreds of families set out in search of fireworks fun.
Here's the rundown of the big public events in our region:

SATURDAY 3rd NOVEMBER

CLOWNE

Travellers Rest, from 7pm, there will be a fireworks display, but no bonfire

MALTBY

Manor Fields, Maltby Town Council Bonfire and Fireworks, including Guy competition

RETFORD

Cannon Park, Leverton Road, Cricket club and Retford Town FC bonfire and fireworks display, 6pm onwards


WHITWELL

Social Club, bonfire lit 6.30pm, fireworks 6.45pm

WOODSETTS

Recreation Ground, Gildingwells Road, 6.30pm bonfire lit, fireworks 7pm

WORKSOP

Worksop Rugby Club, 6pm start, Stubbing Lane, Worksop, including funfair, bonfire and fireworks

SUNDAY 4th NOVEMBER

RETFORD

Retford Rugby Club, ordsall Road - gates open 5.30pm, bonfire lit 6.15pm, fireworks 7.15pm

MONDAY 5th NOVEMBER

BLYTH

Cricket Club, Sheffield Road, 6.15pm bonfire lit, fireworks 7.15pm

ANSTON

Parish Hall grounds, bonfire lit 7pm, fireworks 7.15pm

CRESWELL

Elmtree Inn, Elmton, bonfire 6.30pm, fireworks 7pm

THORPE SALVIN
Parish Oven, bonfire 6.30pm, fireworks 7.30pm, charity event in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Bassetlaw Hospice

TUESDAY 6th NOVEMBER

ASTON-CUM-AUGHTON
Burgoyne Park, Aughton Lane, from 6.30pm onwards

CLOWNE

Nag's Head, from 6pm onwards, fireworks display and hog roast, proceeds to Ashgate Hospice
