Two men charged with stabbing in Clowne

TWO CLOWNE men have been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in the village on Friday night.
Police were called to Clune Street around midnight after a 41-year-old man was stabbed - leaving him with life-threatening injuries.

He was rushed to Sheffield's Northern District General Hospital, where he remains in a critical, but stable condition.

Scott Reid and Daniel Walker, both 23, were charged yesterday with the stabbing at Chesterfield magistrates court.

Any witnesses to the attack or anyone with information should call Derbyshire Police on 0845 123 33 33.
