Traffic chaos after A57 crash near Sainsburys

TRAFFIC came to a standstill this afternoon after a car set alight in Worksop.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on the A1 bound carriageway of the A57 at around 1.30pm.

Three vehicles were involved in a collision which happened near Sainsbury's on the A57.

The driver of a green Peugeot 206, which had to be extinguished by fire crews, suffered a minor leg injury.

Slow traffic lasted for around two hours following the incident but has now returned to normal.
