Residents warned to lock sheds following Bircotes burglary

EXPENSIVE fishing equipment was stolen from a shed in Bircotes yesterday.
Two fishing rods and a fishing pole with a total value of between £600 and £800 were taken from an address on Gilbert Road in the early hours of Thursday 21st August.

Notts Police has issued a reminder to all property holders that they need to check security and should not leave valuable items in garden sheds.

Anyone with information are asked to contact the Harworth Police Station on 01909 500999 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
