Police car involved in crash in Worksop

Police are appealing for witnesss after two men were injured in a road smash involving a police car in Worksop.
The car was responding to an emergency call when it collided with a Private Eye taxi on Newcastle Avenue around 12.30am on Sunday.

Two men were taken to Bassetlaw Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

Both the taxi, a black Vauxhall Astra, and the police car were badly damaged.

A parked black Mercedes saloon car was also hit in the collision, although no-one from this vehicle was injured.
