A CARLTON primary school has got behind our adopted charity to raise over £1,100 to help reach out to vulnerable children.
Pupils and staff took part in a sponsored walk within the school grounds, and they were able to present the cheque to NSPCC school fundraiser Emma Grishin.
She said: "Thanks to all the children at Kingston Park Primary for taking part in this fundraising activity, and raising over £1,100 for the NSPCC."
"This will go towards helping us in our work to end cruelty to children."
A spokesman from the school said: "The whole school got involved with the walk and the children really loved it. There was a brilliant response from the community."
