POLICE are continuing their search for a missing 16 year old boy from Nottingham who was visiting the Chapel St Leonards area on holiday with his family.
Luke Steven Lees from Long Eaton, Notts, was last seen at the Oasis Amusements Arcade in Sea Lane, Ingoldmells on the evening of Wednesday 30th July. He was staying with his family at the Golden Anchor caravan park in Trunch Lane, Chapel St Leonards and was reported missing the following day.

Officers have been carrying out extensive local enquiries to try and locate him and a number of business people believe they may have seen him in the Ingoldmells and Chapel St Leonards area. Police are now broadening their search and appealing through the local media for any sightings of Luke.

"We believe Luke is still in the local area, possibly being put up by someone he may have befriended," said Insp Simon Elmer from Lincolnshire Police's East Division. "We've had a number of unconfirmed sightings of him but we're now anxious to trace him so that he can be returned home to his family in Nottinghamshire."

Luke was last seen wearing a black Nike t-shirt with a Nike 'tick' logo on the front. He had black jeans with gold writing on the bottom and gold trim on the pockets, a black baseball cap and black trainers with gold trim. He is described as around 5ft 5in tall, white, with black short hair that is cut into a pattern of stars across the back of his head.

"Luke's family are very worried about him and anxious to hear that he is safe and well. Clearly Luke needs to return home and so we're asking local people and anyone holidaying in the Ingoldmells or Chapel St Leonards area who believe they know his whereabouts or have seen him to call us immediately," said Insp Elmer.

Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire Police on 01754 762222 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
