Eighties Mania is set to descend on Sheffield next month when Europe’s premier multi-tribute concert comes to the city and we have three pairs of tickets to be won!
All the musical heroes from 30 years ago will be celebrated in the poptastic bash at City Hall on Friday 30th September.
And we have three pairs of tickets to give away in our fantastic competition.
Whatever your musical taste back then, there is sure to be something to delight your ears in the show.
Over 35 smash hits will be authentically recreated on stage.
All the old favourites will be played, to transport you back in time to the days of Simon Le Bon and Boy George.
Your toes will be tapping to songs originally recorded by Duran Duran, The Human League, Kim Wilde, Culture Club, Wham!, Nena, Toni Basil, Dead or Alive, Madness, A-ha, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and many more.
They are all presented to the audience as a live fantasy tribute concert.
Meticulous attention has been paid to recreate the sound of the era.
But that’s not all. Visually all the costumes, choreography and lighting designs have also been studied and scrutinized from the original artists’ live performances.
This means they will be replicated to the finest detail.
Now in its third year, 80s Mania is the must-see event for anyone who lived in, grew up in, or simply loves the 1980s.
It has quickly gained a cult following, with audiences dressing up in outrageous 80s’ fashions and partying like it was 25 years ago.
You will see make-up clad New Romantics, leggings and legwarmers, stilettos, shoulder pads, big hair and roller skates.
And all of these can be found both on and off stage at 80s Mania.
So take a step back in time and join the multi talented cast of acclaimed singers, dancers, acrobats and musicians for the ultimate celebration of the 80s.
Eighties Mania will be in the Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall at Sheffield City Hall.
The show will start at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at £18 and £19.50.
