NEWS: The Gainsborough Standard

DUTCH superstar musician Dirkjan makes his way to Gainsborough on Sunday 18th November.

The organist, known as Dirk, will perform for Gainsborough Organ Society at The Weston Room, Hickman Street, from 2.30pm. Doors open 1pm.

He has represented many of the world’s leading organ companies but now performs with the famous BOHN company. His show will feature the very latest technology available in the music business.

But while other stars use multi-tracking in their performances, Dirk prides himself in performing live music to suit every mood and occasion.

Organ society secretary Peter Naulls said Dirk was ‘a real showman’ and was the first artist ever to get a standing ovation from the Gainsborough concert-goers.

Tickets are £5.50 and can be ordered from Peter on 01427 615265. Some tickets may be available on the door.
