Dating back to 1905, this very old photo which came in the form of a post card, is St John’s Boys’ School.

The school, which was initially opened in 1847 as a school for boys along with another for girls was enlarged in 1897.

Sent in by Mrs Sheila Smart of Woodend, Worksop, her father Harry French is pictured on the photo and his brother is next to him, three from the left and was Uncle Edwin or Ted.
