Pause for Thought

Energy. This is a word that tends to be used in so many ways.

We may speak of nuclear energy, solar energy etc.
Or we may speak of energy in the context of: ‘I feel I need more energy. I’m going to take some vitamins.’
These uses are related, as energy is the capacity or power to do work – that is, of doing something/whatever.
But where does energy itself come from?
The Cretan philosopher Epimenides, quoted by Apostle Paul, explains, ‘For in him (God) we live and move and have our being.’ That is the original source of all energy.
