Pause for Thought

Beauty in our media driven society is too often associated with air-brushed images of tall, slim, toned, good looking people.

Yet each of us has the potential to be beautiful. Even with that spot on the end of your nose, that scar on your cheek, those laughter lines around your eyes.
Beauty isn’t skin deep, it goes much deeper than that, right to the very core of who you are.
True beauty is someone who shows love for others, is kind, quick to forgive, works for justice and respects others.
Be beautiful and release your inner beauty on the world.
Reverend Jane Blatherwick, St John’s, Carlton.
