Differences! We are all different – I’ve got red hair, you have brown.
I like folk music, you like classical. I’m fat, you’re thin. I’m Protestant, you are Catholic. I’m white (pink, really), you are black. Sometimes we feel that those differences make a barrier between us, but they are actually simply an indication of the variety of God’s creation. There are millions and billions of trees – but every one is different even if they’re the same type. No two snowflakes are the same. We can celebrate God’s creativity – and reach out to those who are different, because we’ll find that we have more in common than we think. Forrest Malloch, Poplars Church.
