Top line up for Clumberfest

BANDS for this year's Clumberfest have been announced, with a line-up that includes Super Furry Animals, Supergrass, The Lightning Seeds and The View.

IML Concerts, the company behind Clumberfest 2009 predict that the line-up will attract thousands of fans to the event on Saturday 22nd August.

Keith Louch, director of IML Concerts said the event had created such a demand for tickets that it was believed the event would soon be sold out.

“We are thrilled to be bringing this one day festival to Clumber Park,” he said. “We have already had a huge demand for tickets so we are very confident that the event will sell out quickly.”

Critically acclaimed, Welsh indie group Super Furry Animals are known for their ‘psychadelic pop’, while chart-topping Supergrass are set to complement the atmosphere with feel good summery pop tunes.

Producer and guitarist Ian Broudie’s pet project The Lightning Seeds will be playing tracks from their new album ‘Four Winds’, alongside their back catalogue, while Scottish indie group The View will offer a mixture of punk and pop.

Advance tickets cost 26 and can be booked by phoning IML Concerts on 01603 660444.
