Giving it attitude
IT’s Henry Ford who is attributed as saying ‘Whether you think you can do a thing, or think you can’t, you’re right’.
Which is basically saying that our mindset towards a challenge will often determine whether or not we succeed at something.
I was reminded of that attitude while watching the closing ceremony of the Paralympics.
I bet most of those athletes have been told at some point in their lives that they would never achieve their goal.
But by taking the ‘can do’ attitude they proved the doubters wrong.
And there’s a lesson in that for all of us, able-bodied or otherwise.
