COMMUNITY: Tickhill - Les Francophiles de Tickhill
On Wednesday, December 7, at 7.30pm at the parish room, Tickhill, DN11 9HZ, the group will be holding its annual Fête de Noël, complete with games, carols in French and a buffet of largely French food, provided on a bring and share basis.Visitors are welcome at a charge of £3 but please bring a contribution of festive food too.
On December 7, there will be a brief extraordinary general meeting to receive nominations. Voting slips are already available. Please lend your voice to this important decision. On January 4, 2017, the group will welcome Marie-Pierre Brown, who will talk in English about the famous aniseed liquor of the south of France, “Le Pastis”.
