Horror among the treetops in Sherwood Forest

Got that? It has been 'chosen'! People sat round a table and actually said: "Yeah, wow, I like it!"
Just a few miles down the road, at Edwinstowe, you could soon see this monstrosity towering above the trees.
It looks like a still from Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.
Or a nuclear explosion made out of old planks.
And yet there are starry-eyed idiots drooling over this 'masterpiece' and actually believing it will 'enhance' our precious historic woodland.
I've got news for you, mate – what we want to see round here is more TREES! Real ones!
Instead we're going to get a 60ft nightmare made out of steel with planks of wood nailed higgledy-piggledy around the outside.
I can only hope that when this tripe goes forward for the final vote that they give the Lottery cash to a more deserving cause.
