CHART-TOPPING act McFly's Sherwood Pines summer gig is selling out fast – but we have secured two pairs of tickets for the night in this week's fantastic competition.
The Number One hit band are set to appear in a mega-outdoor concert in Sherwood Pines Forest Park this month on Saturday 20th June.
Rated as one of Britain's best live groups, they will play in a stunning tree-lined auditorium at the heart of the 3,000-acree woodland to 5,000 people.
Chris Bray, local concert organisers for the Forestry Commission, said he was delighted to welcome McFly alongside sold-out star Paul Weller.
"This is another top name for Sherwood, adding to the list of legends who have performed in the forest since the gigs started back in 2001," he said.
"McFly's achievements are staggering, but if anything their finest years lay ahead, exploring new sounds and audiences. It will be a fabulous mid-summer spectacular."
Last year the band played a one-off gig in front of a packed crowd in Thetford Forest, East Anglia, a performance deemed one of the best ever in the history of the Forestry Commission's shows.
Frontman Tom Fletcher has made chart history, having written more Number One hits than U2, Queen and Robbie Williams - and all before the age of 21.
And the band's popularity has also been recognised via numerous awards, including a Brit Award for Best Pop Act and Best Live Act at the Virgin Awards.
Tickets for the Sherwood Pines show are priced £26.50 (subject to booking fee) and can be bought by visiting www.forestry.gov.uk/music, at the venue or by calling the ticket hotline 01842 814612.
