Jekyll and Hyde in Retford

THE RETFORD Amateur Operatic Society are gearing themselves up to present a lavish stage production of the Jekyll and Hyde musical from Wednesday 7th to Saturday 10th May.
The production is to be staged at Retford’s Majestic Theatre.

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde investigates the psychology of the split personality.

Ann Marie Edwards, a spokesman for the society, said: ”It will be a wickedly entertaining show packed with beautiful songs, and is definitely not to be missed.”

The dramatic group has been staging musicals, pantomimes and concerts for 40 years and is open to all people who wish to sing, dance and act, as well as anyone who can provide technical support behind the scenes.

The junior branch of the society, The Mini Operatic Bunch (MOB) is open to youngsters from age eight and performs its very own annual musical.

Tickets for the Jekyll and Hyde musical are priced £10, £9 concessions. A family ticket is £34 and can be purchased by calling 01777 706866.
