RETFORD rockers Gaucho are the first under the spotlight as the Guardian launches a brand new music feature.
The four-piece secured 12-hours recording time at Abbey Road Studios when they won an E-Music TV contest earlier this year.

We caught up with three-quarters of the upcoming group at their rehearsal studio in South Wheatley near Retford.

Guitarist Mark was unable to make it, but you can hear what Barney, Marcus and Elge had to say by clicking the video link to the right.

You can also listen to Well Remembered - the track which took them to victory in the competition - by clicking here.

And if you like what you hear, you can catch Gaucho at a gig near you soon. For more information visit www.gauchoband.com.
