I have caught the 7.32am Stagecoach number 77 Clowne to Worksop bus every weekday morning for the past eight years.
During this time the service has been very reliable. This morning (Wednesday 7/2) the bus stopped to pick up outside the library in Creswell and unfortunately, a lady who travels regularly on this route was ill and unable to get on the bus.
Instead of driving off and leaving her there in distress, the driver, who I later discovered was called Mark Guest, together with a passenger who was a first-aider, got off the bus and helped the lady, waiting with her until an ambulance came.
Thank you to both the driver and the first-aider for doing an excellent job.
