Poppy thanks
Once again I must thank the people of Worksop and the surrounding areas. The Three Cadet Forces, Worksop College, The Masonic Lodge, (Worksop), the clubs, pubs, supermarkets and little shops as well as Mr J. Ruggles who stands alone selling and my own loyal band of helpers who not only sell poppies in supermarkets but also distribute and collect during and after the poppy appeal.
Without these people we would not be able to do the appeal in Worksop. To each and everyone, I owe you all a very big thank you.
The amount raised so far 2011-12 Poppy Appeal is £23,541.35. Donations can be made at any time throughout the year, cheques made out to RBL, Poppy Appeal, and sent to me: Brian Madden, 16 Dadley Road, Carlton-in-Lindrick, Worksop, Notts. S81 9LY.
Once again I thank each and everyone. I know times are hard and money is tight for everyone but lets see if we can break the £25,000 mark next year, and really put Worksop on the map.
