BASSETLAW Stroke Information Service: Is a new service for residents, funded by NHS Bassetlaw and Notts County Council and delivered by Bassetlaw Action Centre. The service provides advice, information and support to stroke survivors, and their families and carers for as long as it is needed. A case worker is available to assist you to access services that you may require to support your return to day-to-day life. BREATHEASY, Bassetlaw: Meets on 2nd Tuesday of the month at the The Oasis, Longfellow Drive. Various speakers attend offering a wide range of information, advice and support to anyone with a lung condition including carers, relatives and friends. The group also arrange outings and fundraising events. Exercise classes take place at The Arena from 1-2pm every Friday, admission £3 and includes a qualified instructor.
