March 2008

Homelessness charity HOPE opened a new day centre in Worksop.

Guardian music introduced local band King Of Play.

The COOKS AROUND TOWN were back with two more recipes. This time it was homemade pasta and another recipe for sage and ricotta ravioli.

February 2008

A demonstration was held at North Notts College by students demanding that gay people should have the right to be blood donors.

A new feature, Guardian music, started in February. The first band up for the video treatment were Retford's Gaucho.

January 2008

The funeral of respected traveller William Forrest attracted hundreds of his friends form around the country to Worksop.
