AN Annesley man has been jailed along with his Dutch accomplice after admitting peddling cannabis.
Andrew Cunningham (34), of Forest Road, pictured right, and John Carter (65), from Garsthuizen in Holland, were arrested in January after they were found with a substantial quantity of cannabis in the back of a transit van at Acacia Avenue in Annesley.

And at Nottingham Crown Court yesterday, Carter was sentenced to three years and four months in prison while Cunningham received a two-year sentence for the drugs offence and three months for possession of a CS Spray.

Det Con Graham Allen, who investigated the case, said: "The sentences reflect the part each individual played in this enterprise and should serve as a warning that we will continue to pursue and prosecute those involved in peddling drugs."
